No — this is a flexible return day trip. Once we drop you off in Byron Bay, you're free to explore at your own pace. There's no guide or set itinerary, giving you the freedom to enjoy the beaches, cafés and attractions that suit you best.
You'll have approximately 5 hours of free time in Byron Bay. We depart the Gold Coast at 9:30 AM and the return bus leaves Byron Bay at 5:00 PM (NSW time), arriving back in Surfers Paradise at 5:30 PM (QLD time).
Yes — seats are limited on each departure and we strongly recommend booking online in advance, especially during school holidays and weekends. Secure your seat in minutes through our online booking system.
If you think you may miss the 5:00 PM departure, contact us as soon as possible on 0418 364 364. We'll do our best to assist, but seats on alternative services are subject to availability and may incur an additional fare.

We drop you off at the Byron Bay Bus Interchange, Stand D, on Butler Street — right in the heart of town. From there it's a short walk to the main beach, shops, cafés and restaurants.
Yes. The pick-up is at the Mantra Legends Hotel Bus Stop on Surfers Paradise Boulevard, which is close to several public car parks. We recommend checking ParkingMate or the Gold Coast City Council website for nearby options.
