Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Easy way to get from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay. I was staying at Coolangatta and took a 50c 10min bus from my hotel (Twin Towns Sebel) to the airport. The Byron Bay Express Bus was on time, very clean, a comfortable temperature and the driver was professional, helpful and friendly. I spent 4 hours in Byron Bay, and although I probably wouldnt visit again for a very long time, I would recommend this company.

Verified バイロンベイの中心部から灯台までは一時間くらい歩きました。途中、野生の？コアラを見ることができ感激しました。滞在時間は十分でした！トレイルは歩きやすかったですが、スニーカーを推奨します！ It took about an hour to walk from the center of Byron Bay to the lighthouse. I was thrilled to spot a wild koala on the way! The amount of time I had there was more than enough. The trail was easy to walk, but I definitely recommend wearing sneakers!

Saturday 22nd March we were a group of 6 ladies picked up from Byron Bay and our Bus driver asked where we were going to and he was kind enough to drop 3 ladies off at the places on the way to Surfers Paradise Depot which were very grateful for. It was no trouble for the driver to get out and get luggage and help ladies get off the bus. He was friendly, courteous and very thoughtful.

Such a pleasurable ride from Byron bay to surfers paradise. We found this company online and didn’t know what to expect but booked last minute and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived outside happy travel in Byron the driver approached us and was so helpful putting our bags in the mini bus. Had such a nice easy journey and the driver was so so kind and helpful even dropped us at the door to our hotel to save us lugging our bags and he gave recommendations locally. Would 100% recommend using this company.

My experience with this company, this bus service, was incredible. It was absolutely stress-free and definitely worth every penny. I was travelling on my own on my last day in Australia, and when I was confused about public transit, the driver kindly assisted and educated me. I truly appreciate the extra mile the driver went to helping me - it didn't feel to me as though he treated it as part of his "job"; rather he genuinely wanted to help, as one human being to another human being. His name's Gill (not sure if I spelt it correctly), but he truly did make my day when I was incredibly confused and he deserves to be acknowledged.

How do I book?

While lots of other shuttle services charge extra for items they consider to be ‘excess baggage’, we take a different approach. Basically, our motto is ‘if it fits, load it on!’

When asked whether there are any items passengers are prohibited from bringing on board, the short answer is no. We don’t place any restrictions on the items our passengers can bring onto the bus with them, with the exception of pets and alcohol.

Having said that, please let us know in advance if you intend to bring more than two items of luggage larger than a standard suitcase or backpack, more than one surfboard, or any surfboard measuring longer than eight feet.

How long does the trip take?

The journey from Coolangatta Airport to Byron Bay usually takes 45–50 minutes, depending on traffic. It’s a direct, efficient route with minimal stops.

Where do I meet the bus at the airport?

We’ll meet you at the easy-to-find Coach Transit Centre, at the Northern end of the small terminal building. For those who prefer to visualise in advance, a map of the area can be found by clicking here.

What is the capacity of your buses?

We operate two different types of bus. Our larger vehicles have capacity to comfortably seat 20 passengers, while our smaller buses are designed to accommodate no more than 16.

I’m coming to Byron Bay to surf. Will you charge me extra for transporting my surf board?

We are one of the few service providers that does not charge additional fees for larger items of ‘excess baggage’. Rest assured, your surf board can travel for free!
